Kelli Boyle
President

Kelli Boyle was born and raised in Fairbanks, attends Community Covenant Church, and is married with 2 young adult children. Kelli is employed at Frontier Business systems. She holds a degree in human services from UAF and has many years of experience working with local non- profit organizations, such as the Fairbanks Boys and Girls club, and Presbyterian Hospitality House. Kelli has a MYSPACE ministry with international reach called "Random People who Care."

JR Stepp
Vice President

JR Stepp has been on our board since January 2007.  JR honorably served in the United States Marine Corps for twenty years.  He is currently employed at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska Rifle Range.  He serves as the Youth Pastor at Fairhill Community Church of God and is the Chaplin at Fairhill Christian School (K-12).  He volunteers at the Fairbanks Rescue Mission.  JR is married to Nora, they have one daughter and five grandchildren.

Michael Setterberg
Board Member

Mike Setterberg is a founding board member of Wellspring Revival Ministries and past President.  He now acts as the board historian.  Mike has a bachelor's in Theology from Christian Life School of Theology.  He is the Power Plant Superintendent at UAF. Mike volunteers as the Facilities Director for Joel's Place.

Rita Pierce
Board Member

Rita Pierce joined our board of directors in 2009.  Rita is an educator who has returned to UAF to work on a degree in Geology. She is the founder of Battle Ax Ministries.

Elizabeth Howe
Youth Representative

Elizabeth Howe is a social activist with a passion for refugees,  she makes Bears for Burma, toys for children.  She is a home school student and has been involved in many great projects to benefit Joel's Place young people. Elizabeth is a 2011 Spirit of Youth Award Recipient.

John Carlile
Youth Represntative

John Carlile represents our skate boarders, he has served as an AmeriCorps member and is currently a UAF student.  He joined our board on February 2011.
