Joel’s Place operates on about 25% earned income and 25% grant income. The other 50% comes in the form of donations from individuals, businesses and churches who believe in positive youth development and providing affordable recreation for our young people. These important partners are letting youth know that they have value, they are worth the investment of our time and financial support..
Monthly Sponsor Program
We believe that parents are the first sponsors for their children. Some children do not have the benefit of that support, so we step into that role. If you would like to offer financial support we have two options.
- Individual Sponsors give $50 a month.
- Corporate Sponsors give $200 a month: this entitles the business to display a 3×5 banner in the skate park, and they are identified in our literature as a sponsor.
For every sponsor we give one young person a punch card for the month for free skate sessions.
